This is my first official Apple review for Badger Hill Orchard. Since we had a storm in June and many of our fruit flowers froze, and then we had a huge problem with grasshoppers all summer, there were only a few trees that produced fruit. two apples, and one cherry. Red Baron and Liberty were the ONLY two apple trees out of 13 varieties that were resilient enough to bear fruit in this brutal summer. And Meteor was the cherry tree that thrived.
Apple Pick: Liberty (Red Baron was good too, but we preferred the sweeter taste of Liberty) Cherry Pick: Meteor Heres to a better summer in 2022 with better timed storms, less draught, and less grasshoppers!!!
